Some infertility is due to dysfunctional lifestyles, often between the ages 25-35 years old. Natural pregnancy can occur in these cases after a period of acupuncture treatment combined with their doctor’s specific guidance.
Some already plan for intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF) and want acupuncture assist to increase the success rate of pregnancy. These cases should been treated before starting IUI or IVF. Interestingly, there are cases of several IVF failures only to become naturally pregnant after a few months of acupuncture during the pretreatment for IVF.
